We do not carry clothing made from soy (issues with Genetically Modified Organisms — GMOs — and pesticides and chemical fertilizers), bamboo (issues with chemicals and acids used in the manufacturing process), PET (recycled soda bottles: issues with outgassing and chemicals), or wood fiber (made from new wood, plus acids & chemicals in processing).

Founded in 2000 by Thammarath Jamikorn & Klaus Wallner, Rawganique.com is a human-scale family business that promotes sustainable organic cotton & hemp products and way of life. We are concerned about the fragile condition of our eco-system and inspired by the works of Scott & Helen Nearing.

In 2004, Rawganique.com became the first & only store in the world to offer hemp clothing, bed, bath, & home products made from certified organic European hemp.

In 2007, Rawganique.com debuted the world's first 100% organic European hemp knit. This cozy, silky, and elegant hemp fabric is currently used in our Eco-Couture hemp dresses, tops, and turtlenecks.

Rawganique.com was created off the grid on a Mac, from clean solar & wind power. (Our co-founders homestead in a small cabin powered solely by the sun & wind and grow most of their own organic produce.)

Tidbit: Our organic hemp linen sheets were featured in a Jennifer Lopez movie.
