Organic Cotton Fleece Thermal Long Johns

Our Whistler 100% Organic Cotton Fleece Thermal Long Johns are made from a specially spun plastic-free 100% organic cotton fleece that's brushed on both sides to a cashmere-like softness (without the itchiness).

Our customers wear the Whistler organic cotton long johns as an under-layer as well as on their own as organic cotton fleece leggings and pants.

"I cannot believe how soft, how light, and how warm your organic cotton long johns are. I love that they are not made from plastic fleece, but rather pure 100% organic cotton. Me and my husband, we practically live in them the whole winter through. I sleep in them, I use them as leggings outside, I wear them around the house and while doing errands with my kids. All in all, the best investment in my organic wardrobe ever. Thanks!!!" Jenny S.

Care
We do not chemically treat or stabilize our 100% organic cotton fleece fabric in anyway, so listing is normal in the first few washes. Machine wash SEPARATELY using mild biodegradable detergent. Hang or lay flat to dry. If you must, tumble dry on low/gentle cycle; remove before dry. Avoid bleach and avoid high dry heat.

Pair these popular organic cotton fleece thermal long johns with our 100% Organic Cotton Fleece Sweatshirt for a complete warm & lightweight organic cotton fleece thermal long john undergarments for all the winter months. And you know what, together they make a great cozy organic cotton fleece pair of pajamas.

Yes, our Whistler Organic Cotton Fleece Long Johns are actually made from 100% organic cotton yarns (no polyester or latex or lycra or plastic so no BPA, no dioxin, no formaldehyde). And as such, it's the only truly pure and sustainable organic cotton fleece thermal underwear on the market for using as organic cotton long john bottoms or for the great outdoors. The fleece breathes and insulates well; its plushness will surprise you.

There is no outgassing with our organic cotton fleece long johns, unlike recycled plastic fleece, which is made from plastic (recycling is good, but plastic is still plastic and petroleum-based). We started making these organic cotton fleece undies when many customers asked us for pure thermals after suffering from severe allergies when wearing recycled plastic fleece clothing. Made at the Rawganique Atelier in Europe. Sweatshop-free. We also offer 100% Organic Cotton Fleece Sweatshirt that doubles up as organic cotton fleece underwear top.

The 100% certified organic cotton performance fleece is perfect under work clothes and overalls and/or ski suits, etc... as well.

Here's from a customer review for our organic cotton fleece hoodie, which describes our famed double-sided organic cotton fleece better than we ever could. Often, customers who got a pair comes right back and get 12, that's how much our customers love the organic cotton fleece. It just feels so natural, so organic, so soft, so right!

"I am always looking for 100% cotton hoodies. In stores, online, all the time. They are almost impossible to find. They are almost always made of disgusting, toxic polyester or a polyester blend, which I can't stand. Even when it's a 90% cotton/10% polyester blend, it makes my skin crawl. Sorry to rant, but if you are reading this you probably understand what I mean. Not only is cotton hard to find, but I'm tall and I like my hoodies extra large, roomy and comfortable.

Anyway, about a year ago I was fortunate to find one of these 100% cotton, fleece lined hoodies here... Not only that, it was extra large. This was nothing short of a miracle... Of course, I ordered it immediately!

I LOVE this hoodie. I love the way it feels and smells. It is just so pure, perfect, soft and natural. To be honest, I don't even wear it out of the house because I often sleep in it and just want to keep it pure and clean. I wash it in the gentlest cycle in cold water, protected in a mesh bag, and dry it flat on a towel. I might start hand washing it from now on.

This hoodie (natural gray color), and the (coincidentally matching) fleece hat I bought from here are my two favorite and most comfortable items of clothing. Do yourself a favor - treat yourself to this sweet hoodie!

If you want to treat yourself to the most comfortable and natural hoodie ever, buy this. Every time I wear it I feel like I'm wearing something special."

2 of 5 Is there a better option? February 6, 2019
Reviewer: Lord Rod
Over the past 10 years or so, I've made Rawganique my first stop for new clothes, even though it's very expensive, on the principles of supporting organic farming and affording workers a fair wage.  About half of the time though, I've had to return items because the style or sizing has been way off.  Unfortunately, although the material of these underwear is plush and comfortable, they are way too bulky to be worn under normal clothing.  And for some reason, even though I ordered the smallest possible size for my body, they are still way too long.  I can use them to sleep in on cold nights, but that's about it.  Unfortunately, I can't recommend them.  I would love it if Rawganique revamped the style of its clothing to match its dedication to sustainable practices.  Then it really would have something.

5 of 5 Best Longjohns I Have Ever Worn November 1, 2018
Reviewer: Barry from ON Canada
These are the first longjohns I have worn in DECADES  that have not caused a rash on my upper legs. Every brand I have previously bought caused bad irritation.  I work outdoors all day year-round, and had resorted to wearing double overalls on the cold days to keep warm, when my insulated overalls would have been too warm. I had given up on finding longjohns that wouldn't bother me. Then the girlfriend  found these ones. I thought she was crazy because of the price and I didn't think they would be any different than what I had bought in the past. Well, I was wrong. She made me buy them and they're great. Warm and comfortable.  No rash. I have actually bought 4 pairs now as I work a lot and don't want to be without clean ones, so that says something coming from me who originally didn't want to buy the first pair. Great quality.

3 of 5 Nice as plus size leggings, but very low waistline March 18, 2018
Reviewer: Heather from USA
As a thick, curvy women with severe MCS, finding leggings that show off my curvy gams is nearly impossible. Finding safe clothing that isn't white is also almost as impossible. But these do the trick! Leggings and a tunic dress (when will Rawganique make one?) are a plus size woman's staple. Without synthetic materials it seemed that leggings were impossible to find. Sadly, the sizes that fit 50% of women are men's design, so the waist is very low. It's especially low in the back, going nowhere near the waist. This means that the waistband will start to slide off when you bend over or sit down. I have tried sewing an extra 3 inches between the waist and waist band but I find pants the hardest to design. Plus I need the exact same fabric to make this work and there is nowhere to buy the black fleece. (But can you imagine the snuggly sexy clothing we could design if there was? I'm hanging on to that dream!)
