5 of 5 Waxing hemp shower curtain and coat April 17, 2020
Reviewer: Harris Johnson from Seattle
I didn’t want to use a liner with my beautiful hemp shower curtain and I’m not 100% sure my bathroom is moisture-free so I opt to use this wax to make my charcoal shower curtain waterproof. So far so good. It took a while to rub all the wax in and then smoothing it so the fabric ha shot good coverage of the wax. Then I hung the curtain near my radiant heater for a couple of hours to cure. I wax the “inside” of the curtain as that is the part that will get the water. Have to wait and see if I end up wanting to wax the other side as well. Fingers crossed for this experiment to work out as I hope. Waxing the coat also took a bit of time because I needed to get all the seams waxed properly. But the cost is now waterproof. I go in the shower to try it out and the cost just sheds water like it’s nothing. I’m very excited about this.
