Description

Yew 6oz 100% Hemp Fabric

Organic European hemp fabric in a 6oz weight for making 100% hemp shirts, boxers, pants, napkins, curtains, aprons, table cloths, and more.

This fabric is no longer in production. Offered while supplies last. The very similar 5.75oz Wisteria organic European hemp fabric offers more color choices and is the preferred choice for most uses.

Fabric: 100% organically grown European hemp
Grown in Europe. Woven at the Rawganique Atelier in Europe

Note: Yew is the "name" of the fabric, not a color.

Natural color is unbleached & undyed. We cannot guarantee a shade. If the harvest season is rainy, the color will be darker - more gray. If it's sunny, then it's lighter - more blond.

The Yew Hemp Fabric is made from 100% organically grown European 16/1 hemp yarn. 16000m/kg.

Sold by the yard; fabric width is ~58"- 60". Shrinkage of about 3-5% in the length.

Chemical-free. Sweatshop-free. Grown and woven in-house for true purity and environmental sustainability.

Suitable for shirts, boxers, sheets, napkins, and any other project involving fine linens.

A master swatch photo is provided for your reference (2nd photo in Image Gallery). Not every colour is available in this fabric. Please note that we use hydrogen peroxide and low-impact biodegradable fiber-reactdive dyes (with no mordants) so colour variations may occur from batch to batch. Natural colour is unbleached & undyed, so variations may occur there as well — rainy harvest seasons result in darker fabrics; sunnier harvests result in a lighter colour.

The fabric is excellent, very high quality.  However, I do wish you had this fabric available in more colors, possibly even a plaid or brocade.
