• How are your hemp soaps and shampoo different?
  
  They are made from food-grade certified organic hemp oils and vegetable oils. We do not use chemicals in making our hemp soaps, preferring instead to follow heritage recipes from when chemicals were not around. There are no long latinate words in our ingredients list (if they are unpronounceable, then they are probably chemicals with varying degrees of toxicity), so you can be sure of safety and purity. Since 2000, Rawganique has been offering hemp soaps in many unique "flavors" and motifs, scented only with 100% pure essential oils. No Sodium Lauryl Sulphate. Sodium Laureth Sulfate-free.
  
  For chemically sensitive people, we also offer Vegan Purity Hemp Soap that's completely unscented, good for use as soap and shampoo. All of our organic hemp soaps are vegetarian - vegan. They are made especially for us in Canada in small batches by artisans who've been hand-making natural soaps for years. Our hemp soaps really are as pure as can be. They make great little gifts to get someone started on the organic lifestyle and are great stocking stuffers for the holiday season, too. All bars measure approximately 2.5" x 3.25"x 1" and weigh 108 grams (3.8 oz).

    Our organic hemp shampoo bar will wow you with its clean citrus scent (from sweet orange, with old-time favorites lavender, clary sage, and bergamot) and cleansing qualities. This zesty hemp shampoo bar is made from a favorite old-world recipe that we've discovered by accident while doing research on soap bars. Enjoy — our old-fashioned hemp shampoo bar is truly unique and lovely, pure in its simplicity and beautiful in its sustainability. It almost makes one envy the folks of yesteryear who had it so good — way before all the chemicals came and complicated everything.
    
    Two new additions: same basic old-world recipe as above, but with either Kaffir Lime, the renowned fruit/herb of the East used for centuries to provide luster and shine to hair, or Luscious Lavender, with even more stone-ground lavender than the original shampoo bar, for a more intense calm and rejuvenation.
    
    Ingredients: Saponified oils of certified organic hemp, coconut, olive, and palm, jojoba, apricot, sweet almond, and aloe vera, grapefruit seed extract and lavender stone ground pigment. With grapefruit, clary sage, sweet orange, and bergamot infusions. (Kaffir Lime has kaffir lime instead of orange; Luscious Lavender has lavender as the primary essential oil.)

Our organic hemp soap bars are purity itself. No chemicals or synthetics whatsoever were used in their making. Made in the old style using old-world recipes, our organic hemp soap bars contain more than 30 percent of pure and organic finola hemp oil, which is about the highest percentage that can be used in a solid bar.

When we were testing the hemp soap out, we randomly sent samples to our customers so they could get back to us about what they thought.
