Organic Linen Terry Pile Towels

Rare & unique Organic Irish Linen Terry Pile Towels. Made from either 55% organic flax linen - 45% organic cotton or 88% organic linen - 12% organic cotton (depending on loom lot). The organic cotton is there as backing for the terry pile. The terry loops are 100% organic linen.

Our organic flax linen towels are absorbent, taking up 200% of its weight in water. The organic linen towels are not bleached or dyed. The platinum grey color is the natural color of flax linen yarns.

We make our organic linen terry towels from start to finish at the Rawganique Atelier in Europe. Sweatshop-free. Chemical-free. More info below.

From organically grown linen terry. Organic cotton is used as backing for the terry weave. Absorbent (linen absorbs 200% of its weight in water). A heritage quality product. World's first and only. Unbleached and undyed. Sweatshop-free. Made in our atelier in Europe for true purity and environmental sustainability. Chemical-free. As we do not use chemicals to stabilize the terry fabric, linting and pilling may occur in the wash — this is normal and expected.

Please note: It is impossible to get hemp and linen to loop uniformly, so occasional skipped loops and rows are to be expected and part of the charms of owning baste fiber terries like linen and hemp. If you need uniform looping, please buy our organic cotton towels

Care:

Machine wash separately from other garments, using cold or warm water and a mild biodegradable detergent. Hang to dry or tumble dry on low/gentle cycle; remove before dry. Linen fiber does not like high dry heat.
