Our Durian | Oven Mitts and Potholders are made from certified organic hemp that is processed without chemicals or pesticides of any kind in Romania. They are designed specifically for the purist who will settle for nothing less than truly sustainable products both in the wardrobe and home. Durian | Oven Mitts measure 6 inches by 10 inches and potholders measure 6.5-inch square. Both are filled with a fire-resistant filling. Available in Natural and fiber-reactive-dyed Black, Midnight Blue, and Forest Green.

As the name suggests, not only are our mitts great for their regular oven handling, they're also perfect for grabbing and opening a durian (if you don't know what a durian is, well, you're missing out on one of the most delectable tropical fruits in the world!). :)

Please note: We still have limited quantities of Hemp Oven Mitts left from the last production in the following colors: Chocolate, Coffee, Bordeaux, and Blueberry (please scroll down for swatches). If you would like any of these colors, simply state your preference in the "Comments/Suggestions" box at checkout and we'll do all we can to fill your order, inventory permitting. Hailing from fair, small-scale co-operatives in Northern Thailand, our 100% hemp rugs are hand-woven and naturally dyed using flowers, leaves, seeds, bark and earth. The resulting colors are truly something to be behold: simple, elegant, vibrant.

The earthy colors blend well with any decor. Truly a gift to cherish and a stunning addition to any living space, be it kitchen, living room, or bedroom. It will be of use to you and your loved ones for years to come. Ecologically responsible too. Our hemp rug measures 27 inches by 42 inches and comes with tassels on each end.
