Certified Organic French Linen Hemstitched Napkins & Place Mats

Inspired by the real linen napkins still found in many bistros and restaurants throughout France, our Certified Organic Linen Napkins are made from 100% certified organic French linen fabric that is soft, crisp, and caressing, just like the original heritage French linens that have elegantly withstood the test of time. New: by popular request, we've also added Organic Hemp Place Mats and Napkins in Pistachio and Alpine Meadow Blue to our line: they look and feel the same as our Organic French Linen Place Mats and Napkins.

Our organic French linen napkin measures a generous 17 inches by 17 inches. The organic linen place mat measures 15 inches by 19 inches. Both are offered in the classic Ivory color.

Please note: We do not use chemicals of any kind to "fix" or stabilize the fabric size or wrinkle-proof our fabrics, opting instead to let the organic linen and hemp fabrics settle naturally on their own. Therefore, the sizes mentioned are the sizes we started out with; the final sizing may vary due to natural shrinkage during the washing and ironing of the organic linen and hemp place mats and napkins. Please take the sizing indication as approximate only. We thank you for your understanding.

Both our organic linen and hemp napkins and linen place mats are hemstitched at the edges (2-inch border) for an understated decorative look that is elegant and timeless, fit for the most special occasion. Made entirely in Europe.

We offer our Organic Linen Napkins and Place Mats in the following colors:

• Evening Sand Dunes: this is the natural color of linen. It is very rare because most manufacturers bleach their linen
• Ivory (hydrogen-peroxide whitening). This is the classic linen color

The Organic Hemp Napkins and Place Mats are offered in the following colors:

• Pistachio
• Alpine Meadow Blue

All in all, our organic linen and hemp linen napkins and place mats are in a class of their own: elegant, refined, and utterly decadent.

Easy care: Our organic linen and hemp linen napkins and place mats are machine washable (warm water, gentle cycle) with like colors. Hang or lay flat to dry. If desired, they can be ironed or steamed at the highest linen setting for the formal French look. We do not recommend machine drying our organic linen napkins and place mats as dry heat is very hard on natural fibers such as hemp and flax.
