Made for rough-and-tumbling in the great outdoors and on city streets, our Organic Hemp Boots are well-made and ecologically mindful. Hemp is a wonderful material for boots — the hemp fiber wicks away moisture at a fast rate, keeping your feet dry through the hottest of days. Hemp is also naturally ant-fungal and anti-bacterial.

Note: Hemp cannot be expected to be as durable as leather, but the point is that many people prefer to consciously live a life free of any animal products, and that is why these hemp shoes are made: to offer a sweatshop-free, vegan alternative in the shoe marketplace.

Our hemp boots are especially made for us from certified organic European hemp that is processed without chemicals or pesticides of any kind (only water and mechanical combing were used in the processing of the fiber—no caustic sodas or acids (which are common in Chinese hemp manufacturing) were used. All manufacturing is done in-house to ensure that only quality raw materials are used and that employee working conditions are as fair as possible.

Sweatshop-free. Made in Europe (Romania, which boasts an age-old tradition of hemp craftsmanship) with no heavy metals or harsh chemicals. Vegan (no animal byproducts).
