Machine wash using mild biodegradable detergent. Hang or lay flat to dry. If you must, tumble dry on low/gentle cycle; remove before dry. Can be ironed at the highest linen setting.

It's a long-sleeve Old-World hemp shirt that is comfy, cozy, rarefied, and elegant. How we love the big book: oh, the romance, the adventure, and the humanity of it all. Vivid characters that come to life in the splendor and the heat of the Mediterranean, Paris, and more. We wanted to create an eco-friendly shirt that is reminiscent of the period so lyrically and passionately described in Dumas' epic masterpiece.

We finish our shirts crisp like traditional linens. Shirt will dramatically soften after the first wash. After that, it's up to you to wear it crisp for the formal look or relaxed for the casual look. Ladies may wish to wear a pin or brooch to reduce the depth of the V slit if too deep.

It's made from organically grown European hemp, with 45% European linen content to get the fabric to a light texture. Individually crafted in Thailand by master artisans. Sweatshop-free. Note: label says 100% linen for the weave, as there is no word for hemp in Thai in contradistinction from marijuana.
