Low rise flat front, straight-leg chino cut. The low rise cut of the RG8080 Hemp Chinos is low enough to be comfortable (and fashionable) but not too low, so that men of all ages can wear them in eco-style.
Fabric:

Medium weight European hemp chambray (with linen, to provide resilience and structure) that mixes natural and ivory threads so you get depth of color and a smooth & soft hand
Features:

Metal zipper. Natural seashell or coconut shell buttons.
Place of production & labor practices:

Made in Thailand. Sweatshop-free. Not made in a factory: In fact, they are individually crafted by sew-at-home folks in their 50's and 60's with years of experience as mastercraftspeople under their belt. These Thai artisans get to stay home with their family and make an above-average income. Their love for what they do and their care and attention to every detail is evident in every seam. We are proud to offer this eco-friendly and sweatshop-free alternative to traditional chinos. Please note: as there is no separate word for hemp (as opposed to marijuana) in their language, the label simply states a generic "Linen" for construction rather fiber content.
Care:

Machine wash with like colors (cold water, mild biodegradable detergent). Hang or lay flat to dry. Although not recommended (high dry heat is hard on natural fibers), pants can be machine dried (removed before completely dry). Iron at the highest linen setting.
