Organic Elastic-free Hemp & Linen Boxers

Low-rise 100% Hemp Boxers with drawstrings at the waist instead of elastic. The 100% organically grown European hemp fabric (which feels similar to linen fabric) softens after the first few washings. The RG808 Elastic-free Hemp Boxers are low-rise boxers, sitting below the waist to clear the waist band of pants and jeans. For those customers who prefer a standard rise at the crotch and more vertical "hang" room, we recommend our RG803 Eco-Classic Hemp Boxers, which feature a covered elastic waistband and a standard cut: standard rise and roomy around the hips and backside.

Note: Some of the earlier labels say 100% linen for the weave, as there is no word for hemp in Thai in contradistinction from marijuana. (We have since found a workaround to this issue, so recent labels now say "hemp".)

Care:

Machine wash using mild biodegradable detergent. Hang to dry or tumble dry on low/gentle cycle; remove before dry. Steam iron at cotton setting, if desired.

Our Elastic-free 100% Hemp Boxers are made from 100% organic European linen or hemp fabric and feature an elastic-free drawstring waistband. The drawstrings are hidden on the inside of the waistband (worn outside in photo to show position of drawstrings). They are perfect for those who are chemically sensitive or averse to elastic of any kind. Our hemp and linen boxers feature a classic front fly. They are individually handcrafted in Thailand by Rawganique and are free from chemicals and sweatshop labor.

We got our inspiration for the design from heritage linen shorts from the Old World. The cut is clean and simple, with the modern update of a lower rise for wearing comfort and good looks. They are great as house shorts and PJ bottoms, too, because they are not confining in any way and can be adjusted to fit as low on the hips or loose around the waist as you wish, thanks to the elastic-free drawstring waistband.

What are hemp and linen boxers like?

Hemp fabric feels similar to linen fabric. It breathes well, keeping you comfortable in warm weather and cozy in cool weather, thanks to the hemp fiber's hollow cores, which act as efficient insulators.
