Our Organic Hemp/Flax Blankets and Bedspreads are luxuriously silky and gratifyingly earth-friendly. They are made from the two most sustainable fibers we know: 42% hemp, 58% flax, both organically grown and processed without chemicals or pesticides of any kind in Romania.

You won't find a more eco-friendly or pure blanket anywhere! Only water and mechanical combing were used in processing the hemp fiber. No caustic soda or acid were used at anytime (unlike Chinese hemp production which routinely uses these chemical processes in the manufacturing process).

The durable fibers contribute to the perfect weight of this throw/blanket--making for a restful and rejuvenating night and hours after hours of comfort in front of the fireplace on chilly evenings, in a cozy corner with your favorite book, or under the stars gazing up at nature's cosmic wonder (the hemp throw is great as a cozy shawl).

Our Organic Hemp Blankets (with Flax Linen) will keep you comfortable the year round, thanks to hemp and flax fibers' breathability, which keeps air circulating, keeping you warm in winter & fall and cool in summer & spring. If you are in a very cold climate, we recommend layering the Organic Hemp Flax with one of our organic comforters (you can choose from many different choices of fill and cover such as 100% hemp fill with 100% hemp cover or 100% organic cotton fill with 100% organic cotton cover). Please note: Due to the limitation in our loom for the organic hemp/flax knit fabric, the organic hemp blankets in the bigger sizes will have a seam on them. Until such time as we can upgrade our loom, our pure and sustainably made hemp blankets in the queen and king sizes will have seams. We recommend our Organic Cotton Comforter/Quilted Blanket if you prefer not to have a seam in your blanket. Thank you for your understanding.
