Our Hemp Blankets & Bedspreads are made in Europe from organically grown European hemp (42%) & flax linen (58%). Only warm water and mechanical combing were used in processing the hemp fiber. No caustic soda or acid were used at anytime (unlike Chinese hemp production which routinely uses these chemical processes in the manufacturing process).

Our Hemp Blankets will keep you comfortable the year round, thanks to hemp and flax fibers' breathability, which keeps air circulating, keeping you warm in winter & fall and cool in summer & spring. If you are in a very cold climate, we recommend layering them with one of our organic comforters.

"Each year, 275 million pounds of pesticides are used on the conventional cotton crop alone, not to mention millions and millions more pounds of chemicals used to process the cotton fiber and manufacture cotton products. Hemp and flax, on the other hand, grow easily without chemicals or pesticides in virtually any climate and soil. The hemp and flax fibers are easily processed with just water and machine combing and is also at least three times stronger than the cotton fiber."

Treat as delicate knit. Machine washable with like colors using a mild biodegradable detergent. Tumble dry low or lay flat to dry on sweater rack.
