• How are your organic cotton pillows different?
  
  They are made entirely in Canada from the highest quality organic raw materials, sweatshop-free, and chemical-free. Over the years, we have supplied many of the world's most prestigious green-organic resorts, spas, retreats, and hotels with our organic cotton pillows. The cover fabric is a beautiful, smooth, and soft organic cotton damask.

• How do I care for my organic cotton pillows?
  
  
  • Keep your organic cotton pillow clean by always using a pillowcase.
  • Air your organic cotton pillow seasonally.
  • Eliminate odors (only when necessary) by sprinkling with baking soda or expose your organic cotton pillow briefly to the sun.
  • Do not wash.
  • To increase pillow loft, put your pillow in the dryer with two new tennis balls. Set dryer on Air or the coolest setting possible.
  • We recommend our Organic Cotton Pillow Barrier Cloth cover to protect your pillow. Pillowcase goes on top of the barrier cover for added protection and color interest to your bed (our organic hemp pillowcases, for example, are available in many complementary colors).
    
    
• What else do I need to know?
  
  We normally stock our hypo-allergenic organic cotton pillows, but if we happen to be out of stock, there will be a 2-week production lead time before your order ships. As it's a custom order, your pillow is charged at time of ordering (the production process begins right away). For reasons of hygiene and in consideration to chemically-sensitive customers, our organic cotton pillows are not returnable.

Our organic cotton pillows offer the firmest support of all of our organic pillows and are available in three lofts to accommodate the different needs of side sleepers, those who sleep on their backs, and those who need a firm support under their necks, etc...

Carded and then rolled, the organic cotton fill in our pillow is then covered in a strong organic cotton fabric that will go a long way in providing maximum durability and comfort for years to come. Our unique garneting technique also maximizes longevity and ensures that the organic cotton fill remain evenly and smoothly in place for the life of the pillow.

Important Notice: please be aware that our organic cotton pillows are not returnable due to reasons of hygiene. Sleeptek/Greensleep (who custom-manufactures our organic pillows for us) is an internationally recognized manufacturer of luxury organic bedding and bath products, so on top of the Rawganique.com name that our customers have come to associate with integrity and quality, there is the long history and reliability of the Sleeptek brand name (you may have slept on their organic pillows if you've stayed in one of the famous *green* hotels worldwide, which have unanimously opted for their organic pillows).

If you are not sure or are very particular about the texture of fabrics, etc.., then we recommend that you find bedding and bath products in your local stores rather than buying them online as they are not returnable. We can only assure you that our products are as pure, luxurious, and sustainable as can be and that, coming from us, is no small claim. We've looked everywhere for the very best products and only settle for a manufacturer that meets our strict criteria of sustainability, fair labor standards, zero cruelty to animals, non-exploitation of workers, environmental conservation, and purity. The best way to care for all of our natural fiber filled bedding is to expose them to direct sunlight and air once a month. This allows any moisture contained within the fibers to evaporate and will fresh the bedding, bringing the "outdoor clean" scent inside your bedroom.

Al alternative to sun and fresh air is to place pillows in the dryer on cold and air fluff for 10-20 minutes (check every 5 minutes to make sure that the product isn't tangled.) A tennis ball or clean tennis shoes in the dryer will help revitalize the natural resilience of the fibers.

Stains may be spot cleaned, using a solution of 1:3 parts distilled white vinegar and water. Spray the vinegar/water solution on the stain and expose to direct sunlight. Allow to dry. It may require a few applications until the stain fades away and/or the odor dissipates. You may also use a non-toxic spot cleaner as directed by the manufacturer. Be sure to let the product dry completely.
